I've been the capable one. I know what it costs.
I didn't build my career in a straight line. I stepped away from corporate accounting for fifteen years to raise three children. Then I started over at 45, as a temp, and climbed back to Controller.
Along the way I navigated a divorce, a business that nearly collapsed during COVID, and more high-stakes decisions than I can count. Not theoretical ones. Real ones, with real consequences, made under real pressure. I often seemed to end up in the same situations, ones where I felt overworked, under-valued, and under-appreciated, which naturally led to resentment and exhaustion. Once I identified that this "Capability Trap" was a pattern, I was able to uncover the needed changes to move my life forward again.
Today I work with high performers who are ready to stop facilitating everyone else's momentum and finally move themselves forward. I bring a rare combination to that work: the emotional experience of rebuilding a life more than once, the strategic and financial discipline of a career in business and accounting, and a natural ability to help people see what's next, sometimes in a single conversation.
I hold a CMA and MBA, and I'm the creator of the Capability Trap Framework and the 72-Hour Reset, both built from lived experience, not theory.

Signature Keynote
Why being good at everything is keeping you stuck
High performers are the ones everyone relies on. They solve problems, take on more, and keep things moving. But over time, that strength becomes a trap.
The more you do, the more you’re given, and the harder it becomes to move forward.
You’re busy, trusted… and stuck.
In this keynote, Jennifer introduces the Capability Trap, showing why doing more isn’t creating progress and how to break the cycle.
Audiences leave with a clear shift in perspective and a simple way to reset their decisions, regain control, and start moving forward.

One-on-One Coaching
Every person I work with comes in carrying something specific: a decision they can't make, a level they can't seem to reach, a version of their life they keep putting off.
No need to package it neatly. The messy, complicated, stuck version is exactly where we start. My job is to help you see what you already know but can't access on your own right now.
Most people leave a single conversation with me having made more progress than they expected. The answers aren't somewhere else. They're in you. I help you get to them faster.
Not someday. With a clear sense of what's next and the confidence to act on it. Some people continue that work over time. Others need one good conversation to get unstuck.
Jennifer’s career spans entrepreneurship, operational leadership, and corporate finance, giving her a rare perspective on both building and rebuilding.
She has led teams, implemented systems, and built accounting functions from the ground up in fast-growing environments, with a focus on creating structure, clarity, and sustainable growth.
Today, she brings that real-world experience to the stage and her coaching practice, where she is known for delivering practical, relatable insights that help people think differently and take action.
Jennifer is a frequent speaker at conferences, webinars, and CPE events, and has mentored professionals at all stages of their careers for years.
